Pregnancy & Postpartum Therapy in North Carolina
Compassionate virtual therapy for pregnancy, postpartum, infertility, pregnancy loss, birth trauma, and the transition to parenthood. Create space to navigate life's challenges with greater confidence, clarity, and self-compassion.
Hi, I’m Sharon.
And I’m so glad you’re here —
Many of the clients I work with are the ones others rely on—the givers and helpers, the caretakers, the overthinkers and planners, and the ones who keep showing up no matter how overwhelmed they may feel some days.
From the outside, they often appear capable and composed, like they've always got it together. On the inside, they're quietly carrying the stress, anxiety, and emotional exhaustion of holding it all together.
For many of the women I work with, pregnancy or becoming a parent adds another layer. They may be navigating infertility, pregnancy after loss, postpartum anxiety, the emotional adjustment to parenthood, or simply trying to recognize themselves again while caring for everyone else.
These are some of the kindest, most compassionate people I know. They're also often the last to ask for the support they so freely give to others.
If any part of this sounds familiar, I want you to hear me when I say this—I see you.
Therapy can be a space where you don't have to carry it all alone. If this resonates with you, I'd be honored to connect and explore how I can support you.
Therapy may be a good fit if you are:
navigating pregnancy, postpartum, fertility challenges, adoption, or the transition to parenthood
feeling anxious, overwhelmed, burnt out, or unusually hard on yourself
experiencing pregnancy anxiety, postpartum anxiety, postpartum depression, intrusive thoughts, or difficulty adjusting to this season of life
adjusting to school, college, relationships, career changes, or family transitions
struggling with boundaries, people-pleasing, or making space for your own needs
wanting support with executive functioning skills such as planning, time management, attention, and follow-through
How Therapy Can Help
Therapy isn't about having all the answers.
It's about having a space where you no longer have to carry everything on your own.
Together we can work toward reducing anxiety, processing grief and difficult experiences, strengthening self-compassion, improving relationships, setting healthier boundaries, and developing practical coping strategies that support your everyday life.
Whether you're adjusting to parenthood, navigating a major life transition, or trying to reconnect with yourself, therapy can help you feel more grounded, understood, and confident moving forward.
Therapy that fits into your life.
Why Virtual Therapy?
To put it simply- virtual therapy makes it easier to prioritize your mental health without adding another stressful commute to your day.
Whether you're pregnant, caring for a newborn, balancing work and family responsibilities, or living elsewhere in North Carolina, online therapy allows you to access support from the comfort and privacy of your own space.
Many clients appreciate being able to attend sessions during nap time, while a partner is home, or without arranging childcare.
